Employer Accreditation Renewal Updates

Are you an Accredited Employer under the AEWV scheme? Is your accreditation due for renewal soon? INZ is pleased to announce that the renewal form for employer accreditation under the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) scheme is now available online. Here’s what you need to know about the renewal updates:

Accreditation Validity

Your accreditation will be valid for 24 months from the date your renewal application is approved (12 months for triangular and franchise businesses). It’s important to note that applying too early may result in a shorter overall accreditation period

Best Time to Apply

If your accreditation isn’t expiring soon, there’s no need to rush. Wait until you’re ready to apply. You can always check current processing times on our website.

Applying for the Correct Accreditation Type

Ensure you apply for the correct accreditation type to avoid complications. Refunds are not provided for applying for the wrong type, necessitating a second application and fee payment.

Evidence Requirements

Renewal requirements remain consistent for all businesses. You’ll need to provide evidence demonstrating financial viability, such as financial statements and GST or PAYE records with your business’ IRD number.

Updates on Job Check Processing Times

While processing times for Job Checks have improved over the last year, we’re continuously reviewing and adjusting our processes. Please allow at least six weeks for Job Check processing.
